    • You’ll hate this if you are a smoker; but cigarettes are the main cause for premature aging, among all the many disasters that it causes! I have realized (too late for some members of my family and relatives) that years could have been added to their lives, instead of the opposite!
I personally have a very close member of family who could have been living such a wonderful, rich, happy and fulfilling life at this moment. And sadly it was all undone by cigarette smoking!
One other piece of advice is to not give up walking and doing simple and mild to moderate exercises. Eating ONLY healthy food, which of course includes all the vegetables and fruits, as well as grains, fish, chicken. No greasy food. And cutting down on salt, spicy, etc.
And if alcohol has to be drank (which really hasn’t), then by all means, make sure it is only red wine, with an ocassional different colored one.

    • exercise every day

    • Stay health and keep fit., physicall and mentally. Make sure you are eating the right foods, drinking enough water, and exercising regularly. Keep sugar and salt to a minimum, go easy -very easy- on the caffeine and alcohol. Don’t smoke! Keep busy and try to stay positive. That’s about it!

    • Supposedly: eating better, sleeping better, exercising and laughing a lot! I try, but it can be tough!
So, just go out there, have fun and remember to enjoy everyday like it’s your last one – you never know, it may be!
      Good luck!

    • As some people have said nothing can ensure healthy aging but there are many things in our lifestyles which accelerate aging.
High stress levels cause your body to breakdown healthy body tissue too much stress (including exercise) without enough rest will accelerate aging.
Not eating high quality foods leads to having less life in your body, we always think about the calories in food but the most important aspect of the food is the nutrients in it which are used by your body to create energy and repair your body from the stress you put it under. Fresh high quality food has enzymes, good bacteria, and anti-oxidants essential for your body to function properly, when you run out of these living organisms your vitality will start to drop, and you feel older.
Regular exercise and in particular resistance training affects most of the aging bio-markers and therefore limits the effects of aging.

Exercise and eat a balanced diet with whole grains and lots of fruit and veggies, and maintain these habits for the rest of your life!

    • Healthy aging is dependent on your sense of vitality and energy. While good foods, adequate rest and exercise support the body, your energy levels can best be maintained by clear intention, willingness to release negative thinking patterns and limiting beliefs, and an attitude of openness to daily learning and giving.

Energy psychology offers wonderful tools for maintaining and enhancing your sense of personal vitality and creativity. i enjoy my daily practices and people tell me I look younger than I did a decade ago. this stuff works!

I’m eager to answer your questions. Best, Dorothea.
