  • Can Department Of Aging People Be Sued For Causing Mental Duress To Disabled Person?

Posted on July 4th, 2009 admin 2 comments

Recently we almost lost our house. A department of Aging person told my husband who is paraplegic that when we lose the house that he would be put in a nursing home, two of our children who are 10 and 14 yrs old in foster care and I and our oldest child who is 21 on the street. Person who said this did not seem happy when we let her know we wern’t going to lose our house.

    • you jneed to notify teh governemnt of your intent to sue within 90 days..
but i doubt you will win-lawyers want a lot of money up front–and its probaly your word against theirs
try it–i have been abused by teh governemnt-the EEIC refused to iinvestigate my diability discrimination case-appararenrtly-they never actual investigate although tehy say they do-its a lie

    • unfortunately this is typical. no u cant sue because they said what will happen… like suing the weatherman because he said it will snow in December. Their job is 2 provide care for your husband only-not the rest of the family. This scenario is a realistic one unless u have resources to provide for the care of u and the younger ones.
