Summer Jackson has spent over 14 years in caring for the aging population. From taking care of her mother for a short period, to managing a retirement community, to being the co-founder and president of a non-profit designed to help the senior community, she has shared her love, respect and experience with those she has cared for.

These experiences have helped to develop in her a strong passion for being able to offer Adult Children important information that will help them to be aware of their options, know where to look for resources and avoid making important life decisions in crisis mode. Viva! Choices was developed as a direct result of this passion.

Scott Landrum

Scott Landrum is a classic Boomer, a busy professional sandwiched between Grandparents, Parents, Children and Grandchildren.

Scott’s family had recently experienced the loss of his Step-Father and his Mom was turning 65 and moving from private insurance to medicare. He had a lot of questions about this transition, her insurance, social security, state of mind, general support and more. Scott really didn’t know were to go to find answers and he needed them right away. The pressure of not knowing exactly how to help his Mom, really affected him. He was not prepared.

It was this experience that led Scott to call Summer Jackson following a meeting they had about Viva! Choices and ask if he could become involved in some way.

Today, Scott is the company’s Chief Operating Officer and is proud to be part of redefining aging as we know it.

Viva! Choices is the “start here point” for questions about aging and within the next year, for access to much needed flexible, bundled life services that will give Adult Children the tools necessary to live a better quality of life while caring for their family and aging loved ones.
