What Are Some Drugs And Hormones That Help To Slow Down The Aging Process?
Posted on February 14th, 2010 1 commentErm as far as i know there arent any. If there were i think everyone would jump on the bandwagon. Generally this is a shady part of science with people making exagerated claims with little or no evidence to speak of. Generally the only thing that can help stop ageing is a healthy lifestyle – dont smoke etc.
However, hormone supplementation of menopausal women can greatly aid them in old age – oestrogen helps keep the bones healthy and there is some evidence of a reduction in the incidence of cervical cancer and some forms of dementia. -

Does Alcohol Speed Up The Aging Process?
Posted on February 5th, 2010 6 commentsNow I know alcohol does not ‘literally’ make you older I would like to know if it can possibly make a person look older than they actually are.
I ask because I am a very light drinker until the age of 28 I rarely had any alcohol and by rarely I mean perhaps 1 beer per year! On the other hand a lot of my friends have been moderate/heavy drinks since highschool and although some look their age some look at least 4-5 years older.
So does alcohol make a person look older faster?
Thanks. -
